Dr. Hilary Noble is a Sport Medicine Physician in the Regina Area of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
PERSONAL HISTORY
Dr. Noble is originally from New Brunswick. Growing up she competed in Highland dancing before training in various Martial Arts including Krav Maga and boxing. After high school Dr. Noble moved to China to study Kung Fu full time for a year. After returning to New Brunswick Dr. Noble trained as a massage therapist with extra training and certification in Sports Massage. She worked as a Sports Massage Therapist and supervisor for massage therapy students while completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dr. Noble attended medical school at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She completed her family medicine residency at Queen’s University and her sports fellowship through the University of Saskatchewan. Upon completing her fellowship, Dr. Noble chose to call Regina her new home. Outside of medicine, Dr. Noble enjoys hiking, travelling, and spending time with her two cats.
SPECIAL INTEREST & EXPERTISE
Dr. Noble has a special interest in caring for athletes, particularly dancers and performing artists. She also has expertise in performing ultrasound-guided injections. Her practice consists of:
Acute, chronic, and overuse adult musculoskeletal injuries in most joints, including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, core muscle, hip, knee, ankle and foot. This includes osteoarthritis, rotator cuff pathologies, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, ligament injuries, trigger fingers, and many more conditions.
Ultrasound-guided injections, including cortisone, prolotherapy and hyaluronic acid
Acute (<1month) sport-related concussion
Dr. Noble does not see MVA, WCB, neck/back pain, or fractures
